These Terms of Service govern your use of coastlineresearchsupply.com and any purchase you make from Coastline Research Supply LLC ("Coastline", "we", "us"). By using this site or placing an order you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 21 years of age and legally able to form a binding contract. You must provide accurate registration information and keep it current. Accounts are for the named account holder and may not be shared, sold, or transferred.

2. Accounts and access

Catalog contents and pricing are available to registered account holders. Creating an account is free and carries no purchase obligation. You are responsible for the security of your credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at support@coastlineresearchsupply.com if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.

We may suspend or close any account at our discretion, including for inaccurate registration information, chargeback abuse, resale in violation of these terms, or any conduct inconsistent with the Research Use Policy.

3. Products, pricing, and availability

Prices are shown in United States dollars and may change without notice. We make reasonable efforts to keep listings accurate, but descriptions, images, inventory status, and pricing may contain errors. Where a material pricing or description error is discovered, we may cancel the affected order before shipment and refund it in full rather than honor the error.

Promotional pricing, discount codes, and account rate tiers are applied as described at the time of the offer, are not retroactive, may be limited in quantity or duration, and may not be combined unless the offer says so. We may modify or end a promotion at any time.

4. Orders

Your submission of an order is an offer to purchase. No contract is formed until we accept the order and dispatch it. We may decline or cancel any order, in whole or in part, for any lawful reason, including suspected fraud, quantities inconsistent with laboratory research, shipping restrictions, or the grounds set out in the Research Use Policy.

5. Payment

Payment is due at checkout by the methods offered at the time of purchase. You represent that you are authorized to use the payment method presented. Where a payment is reversed, disputed, or fails after dispatch, we may suspend the account and pursue the amount owed.

6. Shipping, title, and risk

We ship within the United States only. Estimated dispatch and delivery times are estimates, not guarantees. Title and risk of loss pass to you on delivery to the carrier. Carrier delays are outside our control. Full detail is on the Shipping & Returns page.

7. Returns

Returns are governed by the Shipping & Returns page, which forms part of these terms.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to: use the site or its contents unlawfully; misrepresent your identity, age, or purpose; scrape, mirror, or systematically extract site data; interfere with or probe the site or its infrastructure; resell or redistribute materials for use in humans or animals; or use our name, marks, or documentation to imply any approval, endorsement, or fitness for human or veterinary use.

9. Intellectual property

The site, its text, layout, graphics, and compilation are owned by Coastline Research Supply LLC or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property law. You are granted a limited, revocable, non-exclusive licence to view the site for your own lawful purposes. No other right is granted.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

Except where prohibited by law, the site and all products are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or arising from course of dealing. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted or error free.

No warranty of any kind is made regarding safety, efficacy, or suitability for any use in or on humans or animals, because no such use is authorized.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Coastline Research Supply LLC and its members, officers, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or business interruption, arising out of or relating to the site or any product, whether based in contract, tort, strict liability, or otherwise, even if advised of the possibility.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the site or any product will not exceed the amount you paid for the specific product giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Coastline Research Supply LLC and its members, officers, employees, and agents from any claim, demand, loss, liability, or expense, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of or relating to: your breach of these terms or the Research Use Policy; your handling, storage, transfer, or use of any product; any administration of a product to a human being or animal; or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.

13. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of laws principles. The exclusive venue for any dispute is the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California, and you consent to their personal jurisdiction.

14. Electronic communications

By creating an account you consent to receive communications from us electronically, including transactional notices about your orders. Marketing email and text messages require separate opt-in and can be withdrawn at any time as described in our Privacy Policy.

15. Severability and waiver

If any provision is held unenforceable, it is modified to the minimum extent necessary or severed, and the remainder stays in force. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it.

16. Changes

We may revise these terms. The version posted at the time you place an order governs that order. Continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance.
